New video: St Agnes tin tabernacle shepherd’s hut tour

Well, this is an odd day. Two posts in one day. The every-other-day Twelve Days of Christmas has collided with the Tuesday video. Yep, it’s new video day and today is a tour of my shepherd’s hut-slash-tin tabernacle, St Agnes in Cornwall. The blog version is coming on Thursday if you’d rather see the non-moving tour.

St Agnes is one of eight little homes at Spring Park, fifteen minutes outside Launceston, just on the Cornwall side of the Devon-Cornwall border. I stayed there two years ago in Pip and I thought I’d have a go at St Agnes this time, because I do love a church. Not a lot to say in this post because I’ll say most of it on Thursday but if you’d like to see a cosy tin tabernacle, hot chocolate, roaring fires and a hot tub, go watch the new video to see where I stayed. I did have plans to do a vlog but it turns out I do very little on that sort of weekend and I just don’t have enough footage to put together a vlog – even if I’d filmed every minute of the weekend, I still wouldn’t have enough to make a vlog, to be honest. I spent a lot of time reading books in between checking on the hot tub’s logburner, I drove down to Truro to visit the cathedral and didn’t film enough of that for it to be worth editing, I walked around Launceston – and not the pretty bits – and all in all, everything worth seeing from that weekend is in the tin tabernacle tour.

So, enjoy!
