Part six, I think! Is Geosea the best geothermal pool in Iceland? Geosea is on top of the cliffs at Husavik, on Iceland’s north coast, and opened in 2018. In this video, I look at what it has and what it doesn’t have, score it points based on the same system I’ve been using for the last five videos and ultimately, comparing and contrasting it with the other nine geothermal pools, lagoons, spas and hot springs in Iceland, decide whether or not it’s the best geothermal pool in the country.
I spend my birthday there this year – or rather, last year. It’s still January, I’m allowed to still feel like it’s not properly “this year” just yet. As you can see from the thumbnail, Geosea is perfectly positioned to catch the sunset but what else does it have that’s good? Where does it fall down? And where does it sit in the league table of the six pools I’ve looked at so far?
Watch the video to find out.
